About IVCDLTC2021

The challenges and crises facing the world as a result of the Corona pandemic, and its fundamental effects on all aspects of life; e.g. education and learning at all levels as well as the decisions that were issued such as the social distancing that led to the closure of educational institutions, necessitated the adoption of mechanisms and strategies by employing technological innovations and tools, systems and applications for the continuity of the educational process. It was not an easy task for all participants and leaders of the educational systems due to the sudden emergence of Corona pandemic and its widespread led to the emergence of many of problems and difficulties. Besides all the political and economic challenges, Palestine is already facing, the new challenge which imposed responsibilities on institutions and individuals to seriously survive the education system. A group of experts and academics exploit their expertise and established education-community based special interest group to contribute to the quality of education in response to the ongoing challenges.

This situation has forced all educational institutions in the globe to use technology in education to survive the academic year and minimize the losses of education opportunity. The pandemic situation and its effect in education show up the necessity of convening an international conference to be the arena of exchanging experiences and sharing knowledge in using new methods and techniques, presenting and sharing relevant research, reviewing and evaluating current status as well as proposed development mechanisms, upgrading educational systems and benefit from the exchange of experiences and practices at local and international levels, cooperating and coordinating between the education institutions and optimal usage of resources, in order to reach the best results, through best practices. Accordingly, we are pleased to announce the organization of The International Virtual Conference on Digital Learning and Teaching During Crisis as a special issue of the 6th session of TICET2021, the International Conference on ICT in Education & Training. 5. Exchanges local, regional, and international experiences in the educational fields in light of crises.
6. Follow - up developments in education and training techniques, and its future trend.
7. Promotes the building and using the open educational resources.
8. Exchanges expertise, experiences, and strengthening the bonds of ties between researchers in the Arab world and abroad.
9. Promotes digital awareness in teaching and learning in society.
